Peru

I have finally managed to get some scrapping done. This is a LO featuring a postcard of Machu Picchu, Peru, which Gordon sent to us from his visit there in January 2004. The LO was for a challenge at Collectively Yours, it had to feature a postcard. The paper is by Li'l Davis Designs and the quote reads "Certainly, travel is more than the seeing of sights; it is a change that goes on deep and permanent, in the ideas of living." Miriam Beard.

Gordon visited Peru in 2004 to see the work of the Vine Trust. He visited the work of SU Peru with the street boys and went on the Amazon Hope, a medical ship which works on the Amazon River. I thought the quote was appropriate as his trip there has brought the work of the Vine Trust to the attention of many people here and indeed has lead to several people going out to Peru to work on the Amazon Hope.

How wonderful that Gordon's trip has had such far reaching impact. It's a beautiful, simple but thought provoking layout.
I hope Andrew hasn't done any nasty damage that could spoil the rest of the summer for him. They have to try these things don't they?
